Since the beginning of the first courses in distance management in 2009, we have accumulated extensive knowledge and experience in the area of management of distance and virtual collaboration. We base ourselves on research, theory and on the insight and understanding of practice we have through many years of cooperation has accumulated. We work with Danish and International organizations, and can deliver in Danish, Scandinavian and English.
Lars Pedersen
Lars has driven Pitstop management since 2013. He has a humanistic education from Copenhagen University and a Master in Leadership and Organizational development from Aarhus and Aalborg Universities. Lars has since 1987 built an extensive practical experience as a training manager and HR manager in a number of Danish and International organizations. He has since 2004 driven his own business – in the time period 2005-15 in partnership with Henrik Helweg in the company Helweg & Pedersen. Pitstop Management was founded in 2013 and is based in Copenhagen.
Lars works as a consultant, teacher and developer in distance leadership and virtual collaboration.
Jens Jørgen Nielsen
Jens Jørgen is MA. in History and History of Ideas. He has worked for over 12 years outside of Denmark and speaks several languages, including Russian, Polish, German and French.
Jens Jørgen particular holds experience from Eastern Europe, Russia and the former Yugoslavia. This among other things has been under the Danish embassies and in private companies. He has also worked on projects in the Middle East, Morocco, Jordan, Egypt, Palestine and Israel.
Jens Jørgens work includes the courses in national perceptions of culture and intercultural encounters.
Thomas Tøth
Thomas has a background in the IT industry, where he over the years has worked with outsourcing and offshoring. As a member of the management team in the Danish Bank’s IT development Thomas has been stationed in the Danish Bank center in Bangalore with over 700 local employees. Thomas has practical experience in managing distributed teams as well as cross-cultural management and communication at a distance. Thomas is furthermore an external lecturer and supervisor at Copenhagen Business School. As a researcher Thomas defended his PhD in 2015 named ‘Trustworthiness: Enabling global collaboration’.
Thomas works with leadership at the distance, virtual communication, process optimization, etc.
Thea Bollerup-Jensen
Thea has a background within IT education and learning and is Master of Arts (Education) in ICT-based educational design specializing in distance leadership and online-based communication.
Thea has published research articles within the subjects of learning and leadership at a distance, and she has worked extensively with technologies and digital platforms both in regards of general and workplace learning.
Thea is assistant Professor and supervisor at UCC and UCSJ and has experience from consulting work in university settings as well as from the private sector.
Thea has also worked for several years with the development of international relations and speaks English and Spanish.
Thea works with learning, distance leadership and digital communication platforms.
Louise Thomsen
Louise is BSc in Business Administration & Service Management and currently studying her Master in Human Resource Management at Copenhagen Business School.
Louise has a vocational background in the hotel industry, and has for a number of years worked as a teacher and professional concept development within the hospitality industry. Louise has been responsible for production of teaching material, has taught and been a censor at Copenhagen Hospitality College on a consultancy basis.
Louise works with research, development of professional concepts and communication.
Alexander Meineche Jensen
Alexander studies innovation at the Niels Brock – Copenhagen Business College. Alexander is very interested in marketing and communication through Social Media as well as entrepreneurship and innovation.
In Pitstop Management alexander is occupied with online marketing and communication, follow-up on customers, and market and customer expansion.
Amanda Kaldestad Westerlund
Amanda is bachelor in PR and Market Communication from BI – Norwegian Business School in Bergen and is now studying her Master in Human Resource Management at Copenhagen Business School. Amanda is currently attending her mandatory internship at Pitstop Management as a part of her studies.
During the internship Amanda will assist in skills assessment, and research and data collection in relation to virtual and distributed organisations.
